...to say the snow has kick started a MASSIVE cold weather movement!
I haven't been able to drive anywhere this morning, but there has been almost continuous large flocks of Fieldfares and Redwings passing over the garden. Most flocks going SW, but they have been going in all directions. Some very low just above tree height, others much higher in the sky. A few of both species have been landing in the garden too.
Also several Skylarks going over, a few Meadow Pipts and Lapwing and a lone Snipe. I feel very sorry for the birdies at the mo..... keep putting food out people!
